Thank you in advance for your interest in submitting for airplay on KGUP FM Emerge Radio and KGUP PRESENTS.
All CD and email submissions become the physical property of the radio station.
There is no guarantee made of receiving airplay or approval to appear on KGUP PRESENTS. If accepted, acknowledgement of your paid submission is guaranteed within 14 days of receipt.
NUMBER OF PLAYS PER DAY
If selected for radio rotation on KGUP FM Emerge Radio, we will play your song at least 8-12 times per day. Songs selected for playlist platforms like Spotfiy, YouTube Music, and Google Play Music will appear on our curator playlists.
SOCIAL MEDIA
Each new artist that is added to rotation is promoted on our Instagram page. This is done to promote awareness that KGUP is playing your music. We simply ask that you "Like", "Regram", and "ReTweet". If you want us to promote an upcoming performance, just tag us at @KGUPFM and we will repost your message as a Story.
SUBMISSION FEE
We charge $7 per song to submit for rotation consideration only. There is NO guaranteed airplay. The fee is to place your song to our review panel ahead of the standard free submission que and it helps us continue to help support local artists.

WHY IS THERE A SUBMISSION FEE?
KGUP FM Emerge Radio is non-commercial, privately owned, operated, and self-funded radio station. We are anti-establishment. That means major labels cannot tell us who or what to play. We do not have large corporate sponsors, so no one can tell us who we should or should not play. Each dollar we receive becomes a vital part of our existence, so each submission fee we collect helps to keep KGUP on the air. Due to the continued support from local artists and listeners, KGUP has grown exponentially and continues to grow on a daily basis.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Your music must be mixed & mastered and files must be no smaller than than 128kbps. High Quality Demos are accepted as well with some exceptions.
We only accept .mp3 files and .mp4 video files.
Your music must be a single version not to exceed 5 minutes in length, unless pre-approved.
Your submission must contain a contact name, contact number, and email address.
All songs must be original works (covers are okay)
By submitting your material, you hereby grant KGUP permission to play work whole or in part at any time.
Submission of works does not guarantee airplay.
No acknowledgement of your submission is guaranteed.
If one of the KGUP or show affliates are interested in playing your music, we will contact you, i.e.:

LICENSING INFORMATION:
KGUP FM Emerge Radio is privately owned and operated and is a TuneIn, Universe Network, Spotify, and Google Play Music broadcast affiliate.
Our music data and royalty and performance fees are reported through TuneIn, Universe Network, Spotify, YouTube Music, Amazon Alexa, and Google Play Music.
